Winter Park Mountain Biking | Trail Status Last Week of June 2013

Winter Park mountain biking trails are all in pretty good shape.  The trail status for the last week of June 2013 shows that much of the puddles or muddy sections on the trails, for the most part, are now dry.  The only exception is D2 that has a large "puddle" at the bottom of the climb going toward Winter Park.  If you go too fast through the "puddle" you will get your feet wet!

Down trees, a hazard for mountain biking especially when flying downhill, have now mostly been removed.  But it is still recommended to be cautious as new trees may fall on the trail after windy days.  Just keep your eyes out for the potential of something (or someone else) being on the trail when riding.  Remember uphill riders and hikers have the right of way!
